Tip: drag items into tiers — or tap an item, then tap a tier. With a keyboard, focus an item and press 1–9 to send it to a tier, 0 for the pool, Delete to remove. Drop image files onto the pool to add pictures.
Three ways to use a random tier list
Random topic: beat blank-page syndrome. The generator hands you a topic and its items — you do the ranking.
Random placement: add your own items and shuffle them into tiers. It's a surprisingly good way to spot the placements you really disagree with.
Party mode: roll a topic and shuffle it, then take turns moving one item each until everyone is (mostly) happy.
Make the result your own
A random board is only a starting point. Rename tiers, recolour them, add new items or drag things around until
the list says what you think. When you're done, export it as a PNG or copy a share link.
Press Random topic and the generator picks one of our ready-made lists, shuffles its items and loads them into the pool. Press Shuffle into tiers to let chance decide where everything goes — then argue about the result.
Can I randomise my own items?+
Yes. Add your own items to the pool (or load any template), then press Shuffle into tiers. Every unranked item is dropped into a random tier.
Can I change the result?+
Of course. Once the dice have rolled, drag anything you disagree with into a better tier. The list is a normal tier list from then on.
Is it good for games and streams?+
Random tier lists make a great party game or stream segment: roll a topic, give everyone a minute to defend or move one item, and export the final board.
